2020 COOLBINIA COACHES
League Coach: Bryan Bennington
It is with great excitement that Coolbinia AFC are pleased to announce Bryan Bennington as the Coolbinia AC League Coach for 2020! Bryan was one of the League Assistant Coaches in 2019, and he fitted in nicely to the Coolbinia culture and values that the Club holds dearly.
The following is a short message from Bryan to introduce himself and his philosophies for the 2020 season:
After many years of playing football including senior amateur level for both West Coast and Mount Lawley, I made the decision, as often is the case, to retire due to the wear and tear on my body, and as a result I embarked into the coaching arena.
I have held a multitude of junior, youth and senior level head assistant and development roles since 2005 including at Coolbinia Bombers, East Perth, Wembley Downs, Claremont Women’s, State Women’s Academy, West Perth Women’s and the Rising Stars Football Academy.
Complimenting my years of football coaching has been head coaching roles with UWA Athletics relating to sprints, hurdles, relays and throwing events at both junior and youth level. Having also a background in Strength and Conditioning, these areas have had a positive impact from a football coaching perspective.
Rounding off my coaching history includes numerous years of private coaching and mentoring across AFL and Rugby specialising in skills technique and game awareness development.
I look forward to coaching at Coolbinia in 2020 with a clear plan of continuing to build strong relationships along with development and upskilling of both players and coaches in an open and honest environment with a real sense of enthusiasm, competitive actions and behaviours.

Integrated Coach: John Stone
Coolbinia AFC Integrated Super Coach John Stone returns for a historic seventh consecutive season as Integrated Coach in 2020!
John has been the foundations to which Coolbinia's Integrated Program has been built on since its inception in 2014, with his tireless work ethic and dedication to developing not just to developing our Integrated players football skills, but their life skills as well.
No challenge is too big or too small for John as he immerses himself entirely into each and every one of his players to ensure they all get the maximum out of themselves they possibly can. John is universally renowned within Integrated football coaches as an astute and endearing coach to all players within the competition.
The Club is indebted to the work John has done for the past five years, and he and the players have seen just rewards with back to back to back to back flags in 2015/16/17/18/19.
